Maliseet members holding protest camp at Sisson mine site

Members of the Maliseet are hosting a protest camp at the site of the proposed Sisson mine.  Despite Tobique, Kingsclear, Woodstock, Oromocto, St. Mary’s and Madawaska agreeing to a deal, some are in disagreement and not supporting that.  The mine would create 500 jobs during construction, with 300 during operation.  The project would cost $579 million and go for 27 years.

NB home sales see record June
