Common Council has approved spending $200,000 to develop a strategic plan for transportation in the city called MoveSJ.
The plan is to develop a strategy for transit routes, fares and on and off street parking.

Pill seized on First Nation contained fentanyl
A pill that was seized on the Esgenoopetitj First Nation has been confirmed as containing the powerful opioid fentanyl.
The blue pill, marked “Percocet 5”, was seized by RCMP in an investigation of drug use in the community. Five people have been hospitalized in the last week…and a 35 year old woman died from a suspected overdose.
