New Brunswick will host next summer’s Council of the Federation. Canada’s premiers will gather in Saint Andrews from July 18th to 20th. That time of year will also be provincial-election campaign season, as we’ll vote in late September.

Another dead right whale in Gulf of St. Lawrence
Another dead right whale has been seen in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. DFO says another whale is alive but entangled in fishing gear east of New Brunswick. The latest right whale death makes for eight total this summer.
