Two kayakers reported missing on the Saint John River near Keswick Friday have been found safe.
RCMP say the two were on a fiddlehead picking trip and failed to return home. They were found Saturday in good condition on an island in the John River.
RCMP is advising people to use caution around waterways with the rain causing many to swell with unusually strong currents, especially for paddlers.
The body of a missing man was found near a trail outside of Bathurst.
RCMP say someone on an ATV discovered the body on the trail in Rosehill. Police have now confirmed the dead man is a 23 year old man who had been reported missing to Bathurst Police last Wednesday. His name has not been released and police say an autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death.
