President Donald Trump has fired FBI director James Comey over his investigation into Trump’s connections to Russia.
Former American intelligence office Edward Snowden says Trump’s decision is part of a global trend toward a disrespect for democratic controls over powerful people. Snowden spoke to three Canadian universities saying Trump’s firing of Comey is cause for alarm.
