President Donald Trump has triggered the 90 day consultation window required before they can begin renegotiating NAFTA.

Trump’s letter to congress cited a need to modernize the 23 year old trade deal and need for new provisions relevant to the modern economy.  The U-S says it has seen its manufacturing industry decimated, factories shuttered, and people lose their jobs since 1993…and Trump wants to reverse that.

A car slammed into a crowd of pedestrians in New York City’s Times Square killing at least one of them.  22 others were injured when the car ran up onto a sidewalk.

The driver Richard Rojas is in custody and police say he told them he was hearing voices and expected to die.
