A woman was taken to hospital after a car-pedestrian accident uptown yesterday.
It happened around 10:45am outside the Golden Ball Building on Union Street. Paramedics treated her for an arm injury and then took her to hospital.

French pilot projects in rural schools
French language pilot projects will be implemented in the next school year in rural schools.
Campobello Island Consolidated, Riverside Consolidated, Miramichi Rural and Doaktown Elementary are part of it. The project is being introduced in schools with interest in immersion, but not enough students for a full time class.
