Officials at the Saint John Airport are finalizing their wish list for federal infrastructure money.
Ottawa announced earlier it was making millions available over 11 years to improve six airports including Saint John and Fredericton.
Derrick Stanford, CEO of the Saint John Airport, told CBC he has a to-do list worth over $40 million dollars including runway rehabilitation and repaving of tarmacs.
It’s taken almost 13 years but 35 year old Jeremy Myles Ryan will finally be sentenced soon for a sex offence involving someone under 16.
The Telegraph-Journal reports Ryan pleaded guilty in 2004 but then failed to show up for sentencing. He was finally back in court yesterday where he pleaded guilty to not attending court for his sentencing hearing. This time the judge remanded him in custody until he is sentenced August 21st.
