Council approves helping pay for study on re-purposing courthouse
Common Council has approved helping pay for a study on whether the Saint John Theatre Company can re-purpose the old courthouse. The almost 200-year-old building has been vacant since 2013. The city will put in half of the study’s $38,000 cost, with the Regional Development Corporation putting in the rest.
