Work is on as of today at Union and St. Patrick streets. New traffic and pedestrian lights, audible signals and a fourth crosswalk are being put in at the intersection, as well as improvements to the islands. There will be a number of lane closures, so expect delays. The work is expected to continue until the end of July.

Security exercise on today at Point Lepreau nuclear plant
The Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station is doing a one-day security exercise today. It involves the Nuclear Response Force team and Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, and will test contingency procedures and emergency readiness. You may see emergency response vehicles and hear radio communicating that simulates an event. Don’t be alarmed.
