The NDP leadership candidates debated each other in St. John’s yesterday and most appeared to gang up on Jagmeet Singh whom they appear to consider the front-runner.
Singh refused to categorically oppose the expansion of the Kinder Morgan Trans Mountain pipeline in Alberta and B-C.
Sidney Crosby hoisted the Stanley Cup above his head last night after the Penguins beat the Predators 2-0 in game 6…first repeat champions since 1998. Crosby also repeated as winner of the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP.
On the diamonds…the Blue Jays shut down Seattle 4-0. Red Sox lost 8-3 to the Tigers. Yankees took the Orioles apart 14-3.
On the gridiron…the Stampeders beat Edmonton 36-35.
