NS man killed in NB accident

A Nova Scotia man was killed in a single vehicle crash on Grand Manan.

RCMP believe the driver lost control of his vehicle near the end of Shore Road in Grand Manan, hit a seawall and overturned, landing in the water. A 68 year old man from Barrington Passage died in hospital from his injuries. Police believe alcohol may have been a factor.

Lakeville fire

Nobody was hurt but a family near Moncton lost their home to a fire yesterday.

Nobody was home at the time of the blaze on Weisner Road in Lakeville and it was called in by a neighbour. Nobody was hurt but it’s believed the family cat died in the blaze which pretty well destroyed the house.
