Snake death trial

The jury heard opening testimony in the criminal negligence trial of Jean-Claude Savoie in Campbellton yesterday. They saw pictures of the apartment where Connor and Noah Barthe were killed by a Rock Python as they slept.

An RCMP officer told the jury the 45km python lunged, snapped its jaws, and made growling noises as it was forced back into its pen after killing the two sleeping boys.
