Enbridge Gas and the province have reached an agreement to end lawsuits by the former. The deal will also renew the company’s franchise agreement with the government, and is expected to bring greater stability to natural gas distribution rates. The suits against the province totaled over $800 million.

Province, Ocean Group sign agreement for NB Naval Centre operations
The province and Ocean Group have signed an agreement to let the company resume operations at the New Brunswick Naval Centre. Ocean Group will again build a floating dry dock at the Bas-Caraquet shipyard, plus pay higher rent for the facility and be responsible for maintenance and repair.
