A public meeting was held last night about the future of the Hammond River Number 2 Covered Bridge in Quispamsis.
It’s still closed after being damaged by an excavator that fell through the deck. The province says it can be replaced with a steel bridge in three months, or repaired in about eight months. A decision is expected in the coming weeks.
