The annual Christmas tree lighting at the legislature is Friday night at 7. There’ll be music, hot chocolate and apple cider, and candy for the kids. Santa will also be there, and events will continue with a candlelight parade to Fredericton City Hall for the city’s tree lighting.

Weekend break-in at Sussex cab company
Sussex RCMP are investigating a weekend break-in at Art’s Taxi. Someone took money from the company safe between 6-7 Saturday morning. Call police with any information.
