The provincial and federal governments are investing over $45 million in the Fundy Trail Connector. It’ll hook up the eastern end of the Fundy Trail Parkway, linking major tourism attractions including Hopewell Rocks, Cape Enrage, and Fundy National Park. The network will also provide a connection to the Sussex area, with the connector to be open in 2019.

Boil order
A boil water order has been issued for residents east of the Reversing Falls Bridge.
The heavy rains and high winds have stirred up the water supply causing turbidity or cloudiness. So about 45,000 users on the east side as well as north and south ends are advised to boil water for consumption. Residents of the Harbourview subdivision are not affected because they have their own system.
