Horizon’s Public Health, EMP and Addictions Mental Health Office in the Grand Manan Service New Brunswick was damaged in a morning fire. Today’s appointments were cancelled as a result, and Horizon is working to find a temporary island location for these services in the meantime.

Oland trial date setting delayed
Setting a new trial date for Dennis Oland has been delayed a month. Another one was ordered after his second-degree murder conviction in the 2011 death of his father, Richard, was overturned by the New Brunswick Court of Appeal. The matter was put off until January 3rd.
