Everyone is okay after a Saturday morning house fire in Hampton. Crews responded to the Church Avenue blaze at 8:30, and put it out quickly. Everyone inside got out safely.

Freezing weather
Leave yourself a little extra time to get to work this morning.
Environment Canada says the messy weather yesterday may have tapered off but it’s frozen solid now as the temperatures plunged. A few people had to use hair dryers to unfreeze the locks and around the door seals on their cars this morning.
The roads were in pretty decent shape but there were still some icy patches.
