Curler Colleen Jones being inducted into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame tonight

A Canadian curling icon will officially take her place among our country’s sporting legends during the Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony tonight in Toronto.

Six-time Scotties Tournament of Hearts and two-time World Women’s champion Colleen Jones of Halifax is one of seven inductees who are being honoured during the ceremony at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts.

Razor blade found in Halloween candy

One nasty Halloween trick to tell you about today.

Police say a 12 year old boy cut his thumb reaching into his treat bag. A razor blade had been inserted into the wrapper of a candy bar. It was just a minor cut.

The boy was trick or treating in the Danworth Road-Keyworth Lane area of Spryfield…so parents in that area should check their children’s treats carefully.
