A Chester man has been charged after a false home invasion report. RCMP responded overnight yesterday to the alleged incident on Pig Loop Drive, which turned out to be unfounded. The 28-year-old faces public mischief and careless use of a firearm, and is due in court December 14th.

Sudden death investigated downtown
Police are investigating a sudden death after a body was found on Brunswick Street yesterday morning. The body of a 35 year old man was found beside a residence. Police say at this point it doesn’t appear suspicious but the investigation is continuing.
