Huge tidal turbine in the water now

That massive tidal turbine is now sitting on the bottom of the Bay of Fundy off Parrsboro.

Cape Sharp Tidal lowered the five storey tall turbine into the water from a specially-built barge yesterday. It should begin producing electricity within a few weeks. It’s geared to put out two megawatts which will be hooked into the provincal grid.
