PEI E-gaming report

Finance Minister Allen Roach says the island has implemented all of the recommendations from the auditor general’s e-gaming report.

As well, whistleblower legislation will be introduced in the spring session of the legislature.

The government lost more than 1.5 million dollars after a plan to make P.E.I. a regulator for internet gaming collapsed in 2012.

The report identified areas of non-compliance with legislation, policies and controls.

Charlottetown airport picture display

There’s a new art installation at the Charlottetown airport, that gives Islanders a look at each other’s travels.

The “Just Go” photo wall has 100 photos from nearly 30 countries and every continent.

It also has an interactive touch screen that lets passengers read the background about the photos.

The installation is in the departures lounge.
