A new CEO has been selected for the Horizon Health Network in New Brunswick. Karen McGrath, of Newfoundland and Labrador; will replace retiring John McGarry in January. She has more than 35 years of experience in the health-care sector. Horizon, the province’s largest health authority; operates 12 hospitals, and more than 100 medical facilities, clinics and offices.

Training Event Near Sydney
Air Force members from 14 Wing Greenwood will be doing a Search-and-Rescue Exercise next week. It’ll be primarily based out of Summerside but also include Miramichi and Sydney, with training happening from 8am-10pm Monday-Friday.
