NCC already seeing benefits of solar panels at local reserve/interpretive centre

The Nature Conservancy of Canada says it’s already seeing the benefits of installing four solar panels at the Johnson’s Mills Shorebird Reserve and Interpretive Centre.  They’ve been up since last May at the Moncton-area venue, with the first tonne of carbon offsets counted and power generated to go back through the grid for credits through NB Power.

NS man admits to breaking into Riverview ice cream shop

A Nova Scotia man has admitted to breaking into an ice cream shop in Riverview.  32-year-old Jonathan David Deyoung was to be tried but pleaded guilty to the September 3rd incident at Sub Zero Ice Cream.  He’ll be sentenced late this month.
