Sydney flood repairs

Repairs continue to the damaged roads around CBRM caused by the Thanksgiving Day flood, and the costs continue to pile up.

The Cape Breton Post reports provincial infrastructure costs are expected to top $5 million once all the damaged culverts and supports are replaced.  Transportation Minister Geoff MacLellan says the critical areas under provincial jurisdiction were in rural areas including Hornes Road, MacKeigan Road; and Brickyard Road.
