Marissa Shephard will now elect and plead to assaulting a correctional officer on December 19th. She’s accused of doing so in July at the New Brunswick Women’s Correctional Centre in Miramichi. She’s there awaiting a prelim for first-degree murder and arson charges in last December’s death of Baylee Wylie in Moncton.

NSCC launching funding to support social, economic development with students
NSCC is launching a funding program encouraging students to inspire social and economic development across the province. Difference Dollars for Service Learning has $50,000 to support a minimum of 20 student-led projects. Online applications will launch next month nscc.ca/DifferenceDollars.
