Richibucto RCMP is investigating a break, enter, and theft at the Marché Omni Co-Op in Saint-Paul.
One or more individuals broke in Monday morning and smashed into the ATM machine to grab some cash and then fled. It’s believed they used two pickups.

The Auditor General has concerns about meat safety in the province. Kim MacPherson says her latest audit found processes in the Health Department to inspect meat and ensure they are safe aren’t always followed. She says the food premises program, which inspects slaughterhouses, butcher shops, grocery stores and restaurants to obtain a licence is not always followed which leads to unaddressed food safety risks.
