The New Brunswick Liberals are still tops. The latest Corporate Research Associates survey has the party at 53% support, with 54% last quarter. The Tories have 30%, compared with 28%; the Greens have 9%, compared with 8%; New Democrats have 7%, compared with 8% and the People’s Alliance is unchanged at 2%. 34% of voters are undecided, 5% didn’t say and 3% support none or don’t plan to vote.

Three legislative officers nominated
Three legislative officers have been nominated. Alexandre Deschênes will become conflict of interest commissioner, and integrity commissioner if today’s legislation is passed. Michèle Pelletier will be the consumer advocate for insurance, and Kimberly Poffenroth will be chief electoral officer.
