A man accused of killing an off-duty Truro police officer here will be in court today for a bailing hearing. Christopher Garnier is charged with second-degree murder and interfering with a dead body.

There was also a pipe burst at Queens General Hospital in Liverpool flooding a wing that houses rehabilitation services.
