Traffic signal equipment is being put in starting tonight at Spring Garden Road and Summer Street. Work starts at 9 and goes until 7 tomorrow morning, with those same hours kept until Wednesday. Expect delays and use alternate routes when possible.

Drug bust for possession for the purpose of trafficking
Two Halifax men face drug charges. Police stopped a vehicle on Larry Uteck Boulevard on Thursday, seizing crack cocaine and paraphernalia. Two apartments were then searched, turning up more crack cocaine and paraphernalia, ecstasy, marijuana and cash. A 49-year-old and 20-year-old face possession for the purpose of trafficking, and are due in court in February.
