The body of a missing Big Baddeck senior has been found not far from her home in Cape Breton.
Local Xpress reports 82 year old Katherine Marquerite MacLean was reported missing yesterday morning then her body was found not far from her home on old Margaree Road in the afternoon. The investigation is continuing but foul play is not suspected, according to Local Xpress.
A 17 year old youth is facing a number of charges, including attempted murder, after a stabbing at the Pictou Landing First Nation.
A 29 year old man from Belle Marche was found with stab wounds late Tuesday evening. He was taken to a hospital in New Glasgow with serious but not life-threatening injuries and he remains there.
The teen faces four charges including attempted murder and aggravated assault.
