There was a fatal accident on the Timberlea Village Parkway last night.
RCMP say one person was killed in a collission between a vehicle and a fire truck. They aren’t saying if the fire truck was responding to a call at the time.

Arrest in elderly home invasion
A man has been arrested after the second home invasion targeting a senior in as many nights.
An 86 year old woman was in her home with a friend Wednesday night when a masked man broke in, got some money and fled. Police tracked a suspect to a bus stop on Gottingen Street and arrested a 43 year old man.
They are investigating whether this incident is connected to another home invasion Tuesday night where an 85 year old woman was attacked in her west end home.
