A house fire in Whitney Pier has killed a 59 year old woman.
A man in his 50s managed to escape the flames on Broadway Street with minor injuries. The woman’s name has not been released.
There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.

A 70 year old man got out of his home in Dartmouth unscathed last night when flames started in a garage and then moved to the house.
The man wasn’t injured. No word on the cause.
