An Upper Rexton woman accused of multiple charges had a bail hearing yesterday. 19-year-old Zoey Brooks is charged for alleged incidents in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent and Richibucto, the former being assault; the latter being obstructing and resisting police, and carrying a concealed weapon. She also faces breaching court orders.

Man arrested for Purcell’s Cove Road boat arson
A man has been arrested in last week’s arson on Purcell’s Cove Road. Police responded to a boat on fire overnight Thursday, and arrested 42-year-old Jason Michael Montgomery in Cole Harbour yesterday. He faces an arson charge.
