Shell is sealing off the second of two deepwater exploration wells on the Scotian Shelf.
Shell isn’t saying yet if it found anything in the two wells…just that it’s too early to speculate./

Canadian killed in Mexican shooting
A Hamilton man is among five people killed in a shooting at a music festival in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
49 year old Kirk Wilson was working security and ran towards the gunfire when it erupted at the event put on by Canadian promoters. Two other Canadians were wounded.
Mexican authorities believe the shooting was drug-related and the gunman is still at large.
