48 year old Todd Howard Hugh White was charged with offences in Baddeck last June. But after a pre-trial conference, the Crown came out saying charges were being dismissed for want of prosecution.
A Sydney Mines man is going to prison for holding up a convenience store last summer.
28 year old Kenneth Cardigan Marsh got 42 months for armed robbery and breaching court orders. The judge has also banned him from owning guns for life.
Marsh robbed the Circle K Irving in North Sydney last August.
