First responders in New Brunswick are readying for any increase in fentanyl. The opiate has led to a declared public health emergency in BC, and been involved in overdose deaths in the Maritimes. Every New Brunswick ambulance already has naloxone, or Narcan, which can prevent a fatal overdose.

Business Navigation Service to help with government regs, red tape
A new unique-in-Canada service will soon help Nova Scotia businesses through government regulations and cutting red tape. A one-year pilot project, the Business Navigation Service, will provide information on rules and regulations specific to different businesses, plus help owners understand how to comply and track their progress through the system. It will help save businesses money.
