Becca Schofield is off on her dream vacation. The 17-year-old Riverview girl inspired the #BeccaToldMeTo social media campaign, which is about documenting acts of kindness. She’s battling cancer and was recently found to have two new inoperable tumours. Her trip is to Quebec City and Toronto.

Man arrested after standoff
A man was arrested last night after a standoff at an Edgett Avenue home. RCMP say it’s related to a January 23rd robbery at the Mountain Road CIBC. The standoff lasted about four hours, with no one hurt. The man is expected in court today.
