Mold is threatening thousands of artifacts in the Mark Twain House & Museum in Connecticut.

The Hartford Courant reports the author’s historic home in the city is undergoing an extensive remediation effort to clean the damage.

At least five-thousand of the museum’s 16-thousand artifacts are affected, with the problem blamed on a faulty heating and cooling system and leaky roof that have since been repaired.

PTSD religious treatment

Doctors in Georgia are exploring whether religious therapy can help veterans suffering from PTSD.  Medication and psychotherapy are usually treatments, but August University psychiatrists say they don’t address moral injury or guilt.

The spiritual therapy is aimed at offering them evidence “that there is forgiveness.”
