Two Halifax men accused of attacking Dennis Oland in prison appeared in court yesterday. 27-year-old Cody Alexander Muise and 26-year-old Aaron Marriott both asked for election and plea adjournments, and got them until March 9th. The incident is alleged to have happened July 31st at the Atlantic Institution in Renous.

14 months for drug trafficking; not guilty plea for robbery
A Moncton woman has been given 14 months in jail for drug trafficking. 27-year-old Shantelle Isabelle Goguen-Liebeck also got 18 months’ probation for selling crystal meth to an undercover officer. She’s also one of two accused in last month’s robbery at JM’s Convenience, and pleaded not guilty to that. A trial will be set on the 23rd.
