The 8th annual Cares for Kids IWK Radiothon was a success once again this year. The Fundraiser held by K94.5 FM and 103.9 MAXFM at CF Champlain on Friday raised just under 71-thousand-dollars for the IWK foundation, all from the generosity of the Greater Moncton Community. The funds from the Radiothon are used fund the most urgent priority needs.

CBU Faculty Vote in Favour of New Deal
The faculty at Cape Breton University has ratified a new contract. Faculty voted Wednesday on whether or not to accept the offer which had already been ratified by the university’s board of governors . 103 faculty members voted in favour of the deal while 20 voted against it.
