A Moncton man got nine years in jail for firing a gun at his ex’s house two years ago. 34-year-old Shawn Murray Fredericks got time served and a half, and has six years, four months left in the sentence. He was convicted back in October for the May 2015 incident.

Drug dealer sentenced
A Moncton man has been given 30 months in prison for drug charges. 36-year-old Nicholas Jason Bourque admitted to trafficking meth and crack cocaine after selling to an undercover officer last year. He’s already serving time for assault.
