A 26 year old Sydney man has ben sentenced to two years in a federal pen for a stabbing in 29015.
Tyrone Wesley Bowles pleaded guilty to aggravated assault earlier. He stabbed the victim at a house party in Membertou when the victim asked him to leave and locked him out. He broke back in and stabbed the man.
Councuillor Ray Paruych wants to know when the building housing the CBRM council changed its name and who authorized it.
Paruch says he was approached by some residents asking when the name above the front door was changed from Civic Centre to City Hall. Paruch said he had no idea and doesn’t remember council having any discussion on it. So he is asking staff for some answers.
