Nobody was hurt in a fire yesterday in the south end.
Fire fighters got the flames out fairly quickly in the three storey, 12 unit building at 313 Charlotte but stuck around for several hours watching for hot spots. The cause isn’t known yet.
Fire fighters also rescued several pets from the building…and even gave a couple of kittens oxygen.
