An ATV accident near Digby has sent two men to hospital in serious condition.
RCMP say their ATV crashed on East Old Post Road in Smith’s Cove Wednesday sending a 50 year old man and a 26 year old to hospital with serious injuries. The younger man was airlifted to hospital in Halifax. The older one was taken to hospital in Yarmouth by ambulance.
Gambling profits rose 2.3% in the last fiscal year in Nova Scotia.
A report shows the province got $144.6 million from the Provincial Lotteries and Casino Corporation. The profits go towards services such as health care, roads, schools, sports and cultural programs. $6.6 million is being put into prevention, education and treatment of problem gambling.
