The province has already hit the 2030 target for annual greenhouse gas emissions. The National Energy Board says Nova Scotia – as well as New Brunswick and the Yukon – have reduced emissions at least 30% below 2005 levels. That was set by the Paris Agreement two years ago.

Another zonkey brought to South Shore rescue
There’s another zonkey in Chester Basin. Zonk was recently brought to Intergrity’s Haven Equine Rescue, and is hangin’ with Zelda. Both are the result of a male zebra and female donkey mating, and CBC reports the rescue is trying to become a registered charity.
