Colchester councillor resigns over alleged racism from other members
A Colchester County councillor has resigned over alleged racist comments of two fellow members. Doug MacInnes represented District 9, and the Truro Daily News says Tom Taggart and Lloyd Gibbs are the councillors in question. They’re said to have had an anti-Muslim conversation at a Truro restaurant back in April. MacInnes called his resignation a moral decision.
