Gilles LePage, the MLA for Restigouche West; is slated to join the Jobs Board.
That board reviews economic policy and makes recommendations to the provincial cabinet.
LePage moves to the Jobs Board from his previous assignment with the Legislative Instruments and Regulations Board.
The province is buying 10 more P3 schools. Yesterday’s announcement brings the total bought to 37 of 39, with two being given back to developers. Auditor General Michael Pickup had blasted the government’s handling of the schools’ future in his report last fall.
