Woman robbed at ATM

A 64 year old woman was robbed at an ATM yesterday morning. She was on her way to work when she stopped to get some cash at an RBC on Mountain Road.

She went into the bank machine room and a man, who had apparently been watching from nearby came in after she entered her PIN, assaulted her and emptied her bank account. A cleaner saw what was happening and called 9-1-1. The woman wasn’t seriously injured.

Boil order update

We’ll find out today if the boil order for part of north-central Moncton will be lifted or extended.

The order was instiututed Tuesday evening because of a water main break. Water samples have been sent for testing and they need two in a row to come back clean. The city will advise about the boil order as soon as its lifted.
